February 2010 starts of with a bang

Dude, we're only 8 days into the month and I'm already at $30 on Shutterstock due to buyers pummeling my portfolio. Hey, keep it up guys. Like I said, my family can use the extra cabbage. Hopefully this will become the new norm.

Long Time No Blog...

I've been remiss in blogging lately due to a great increase in family and work responsibilities. Sorry about that. As you can tell from my Shuttertweet sidebar, sales are still proceeding apace from my Shutterstock account. Earnings are not what they used to be, since I have not uploaded anything for the last two and half months. But any kind of passive income is always welcome!

$77.80 on Shutterstock. Not the best, but I am happy that the $28 Enhanced Sale pushed me over the brink to payout at the 11th hour. You buyers are welcome buy as many Enhanced Licenses from me as you please. I got plenty!

This is the photo that did it, and put me at $1000.08 in earnings at Shutterstock. As an on-demand DL, it generated $2.48 all by itself.

My images first became available on the Shutterstock search engine on Tuesday, May 27, 2008. The $1000 milestone was achieved today, August 18, 2009.

That's 448 days, or 1 year, 2 months, and 22 days since I started contributing to Shutterstock. Naturally, I have seen several hundred dollars in earnings from other sites as well during the time.
