Microstock Photo of the Day (Wednesday, November 5, 2008)

The photograph of the day today is a plaque written in Chinese characters which reads, "Gate of Brilliant Governance." Asians in ancient times and present often placed plaques above entrances to important administrative and religious buildings to inspire them to remember the ideals which their societies are founded upon.
I wouldn't mind seeing some American Gilded Age plaques brought back, such as "Impossible is un-American." Barack did it. We did it. Time to set things right in America and the World. God bless America.

Microstock Photo of the Day (Thursday, September 11, 2008)

I took a photograph of the structure just last week. No telling what it looks like now after being ravaged by Ike. I don't even know if HPD is letting people into this part of the city yet.

Microstock Photo of the Day (Wednesday, August 27, 2008)

I personally love details like this row of windows from a skyscraper in downtown Houston. And apparently, so do my buyers. I posted something similar several days ago and that particular photography has vaulted to the top of its Shutterstock category. Blogging seems to be working great for me.
