This is a picture I took of the Battleship Texas. What really amazes me about this dreadnought-class battleship is that it was built in 1914. The first Model T Ford was built only 6 years earlier. This thing must have seemed like something out of Star Trek from the viewpoint of people at that time. Like most people and things that go to war from Texas, this thing has seen mega action, having been in both World Wars as well as a plethora of other conflicts.
